Turtlemama Mar 2023 9:38am, 9 Mar 2023 1,872 posts	0 Turtlemama Morning all. Yesterday I did a 7.3 mile walk in the snow, thinking it wouldn't stick. Today, deep snow everywhere, roads not gritted. As usual Turtle's school is open and we got the customary "please send the children in with boots and snowsuits so they can be outdoors, bring slippers or whatever for inside". Love the rural school mentality! Meanwhile in the nearest cities I've heard schools have closed 😂 I doubt I'll get out today other than a quick trip into town to go to the market. Maybe a short yomp across the fields later. Have a great day all x

I was quite shocked when I went to Scotland with them and found it was normal for 5yos to have sweaty shoes on all day long and drag god knows what through the place where they all play.
