Fair enough, just concerned that a Woking has been adopted as the SI unit for dullness.

As a town, Guildford has its attractions but, although growing up not far away, I’ve never been to Woking! However, now I feel I should try both parkruns to give my verdicts! 😀

CK2 My first visit to Guildford parkrun it was on the winter course so do not know the difference. One part would be very soggy muddy after rain. Lots of grass and good tarmac paths/cycle way so wide. Undulating nothing steep but enough to make you work Note every 3rd Saturday of the month they have pacers. Easy parking in massive car park across the road & free ✅ |

Been AWOL for several days; not reading all the way back, just the last couple of pages and have nothing to add to the discussion about Guilford and Woking, not having been to either, as far as I remember. parkrun done; squeezed in just under the 45 minutes (by 10 seconds), no-one else in my category (as usual), 58.25% age grading. |

Kingsbury Water parkrun was lovely, a mix of trails and paths. Legs died a bit on the third mile so was just over my sub-25 aim - finish time of 25:08 but I'm very happy. Sal did a 29:13, she was hoping for a bit quicker too. Friend Luke did 20:45, his quickest this year. Now I am on the sofa. A day off from work is planned. Teen is being dropped off by her grandparents in a while. |

Osterley parkrun was lovely; gorgeous setting and very flat compared to our usual.

Fragile Do Not Bend
RDed at parkrun this morning, I got to be the first person to wear the new blue RD vest. I’m easily pleased.
