Ah bum Corrah. CK2, I very rarely wear anything else on my legs apart from shorts for running. I have picked up some running tights ready for proper winter, just in case. |

Hope you’re okay, Corrah. GSR went better than expected for me today, managed to run all the way and not adopt a run/walk strategy. Less than a minute outside last year’s time despite not running at all in September because of injury and not having run anywhere near 10 miles since this race last year. Might even have been quicker if I hadn’t had a loo stop after half a mile in the loos opposite Southsea amusements. |

My 10 mile race exceeded my expectations with a 15 min PB from last year (1:52 to 1:37). Am in shock but the conditions were just right - cold and sunny and having set off at about 6 min/km my legs just wanted to carry on like that so I did. Although not quite as fast up the hill to the end

Perfect running there LD. To plan & avoiding the rain. Well done. MASSIVE PB there Idris! Nae good Corrah. A tough decision for you but obviously the right one. I can vouch that LG did 10k A nice 9.50 miles for me. 8 with a friend and the rest solo to get over 30 miles for the week. I did less than 4 miles the week before. Can tell I’ve been on annual leave! |
