Yay, Dio! Perfect pacing. I'm a bit better today and in at work (hiding in my office though to spare my colleagues). Mum collapsed yesterday for unknown reasons and was taken to hospital overnight (which is over 100 miles from where she lives). Blood pressure, heartrate and temperature all a bit low for now obvious reason so she has been told to stop the blood pressure tablets. I'm hoping she was just dehydrated and too hot as she doesn't drink enough water out and about for fear of not being able to find a loo. Fortunately, she was sitting on a bench and someone else managed to catch her so she didn't fall. My sister is flying back from Birmingham today and her OH will go down and collect them both and they will somehow recover her car which is in a village north of Inverness and get them both home to Caithness. |

["no" obvious reason; not "now" obvious reasons] Anyway, she hopes to get out later today. |

That’s worrying ITG 🇮🇸. Hope she recovers well and soon. Not hydrating properly does seem an endemic issue for older people. Hope it is a simple issue and easily rectified

Top work Dio. Nothing like having house guests for getting the cleaning done PH. Hope nothing more sinister with your Mum ITG. 6 miles done, I should have gone out earlier but it's done. Off to a different beach today for a change. Perhaps I should wear my Garmin when I go in the sea so I can get the triathlon badge. |

Hope your Mum recovers quickly and there's no recurrence, ITG. Ten miles bike ride done. I used a route I sometimes run for my longer runs but haven't been along the lanes for quite a while. My goodness, the lanes have deteriorated dramatically ![]() |
