ThorntonRunner Jan 2022 4:58pm, 2 Jan 2022 5,609 posts	0 ThorntonRunner Picking up on the discussion this morning I too love the OS app. I think it costs me £30 a year for access to all OS maps online (phone, tablet and desktop), including printing out custom sections. With regard to phone battery use I checked on a walk this morning, and for my android phone a 3.2 mile walk over 1h15m took 5% of my phone charge, so not really significant. Would just be good to have a way to export walks from the app and import them to Fetch!!

Nice when running, but mum guilt struck - I'd promised I'd take the turtle to the park to ride her bike if she let me get out for a run first. 5 mins after I got back, the heavens opened so she's been stuck indoors. Tomorrow I'll prioritise her park trip, and run later!

It was alarming to note that it felt like hard work but I know from experience I'm barely warmed up after such a short distance, so I'm not panicking yet

That's not too far from me. There's an annual walk/run/bike/horse race there. Perhaps you know it. I've done it a few times. The first twice I got lost, but not since.
