ITG 🇮🇸 Jul 2021 5:48pm, 18 Jul 2021 12,997 posts	0 ITG 🇮🇸 Mum is on her way home. She was a bit nervous so I got her checked in and waited for special assistance man to take her through. He came very quickly and was super nice. Chilling in hotel with dementor whom I plan to entertain with very long lies while I work and Netflix while I run. All good. My mum had a great trip but it is exhausting. Esp as I had loads of driving. Unfortunately, no volcano flight because of fog. Hope you lot are behaving. Did I miss any more ultras, PBs or comebacks, etc?

She did all the cooking because she's recently become a vegan. I'm quite happy to eat vegan, and to shop for ingredients she requested. At 11 o'clock this morning she went for a run; temperature well up in the 20s, she'd have done better to go earlier, but she survived.

I want to do a Half Ironman when I turn 50 in 2023 but other than that no clue. Help! I have a notion of doing another ultra but could not do 100k again so looking at 50k with generous cut off times but all suggestions welcome.
Sombrero Jul 2021 8:31pm, 18 Jul 2021 12,152 posts	0 Sombrero Corrah how about a timed event as a solo runner? I've done endure 24 which was great. Next weekend I'm doing dusk til dawn which is a 12 hour event. 3.21 mile loops. As many or few as you want. Lots of walking will be happening
