Thanks, no not badly. It bled a little but has stopped now (just oozing into the germolene I put on it), and bruised/swollen underneath. I pulled away just in time do it wasn't anything more than superficial, but still broken skin.

No point calling police, I am not good with breeds of dog smaller than border collies, and I am pretty much face blind so describing the owner would be equally hopeless! If I have time later I will have a look at 101 online and see if I have enough info, but I doubt it 🙁

You can probably report it online. D2 had a pervy guy make inappropriate comments a while ago. Couldn’t really describe what had happened but I logged it anyway. Had a call back within an hour.

TM you should get antibiotics just in case, I was bitten by a GS a couple of years ago, when I went to see the nurseca couple of days later on an unrelated incident and happened to mention the dog bite she told me off for not seeing someone straight away.

I'll look out for any signs of infection. I have no time to get to the minor injuries unit at hospital today and the GP doesn't do minor injuries. Have to do supermarket shop now (meant to leave at 1) then school run, then swimming lessons for turtle, then sort her bath, dinner etc etc.

Will be back sometime later xx

Have just walked from Bolberry to Salcombe along the coastal path on what is the honest day so far. Was stunning but oh so warm. Now sat in a lovely little restaurant on the beach having some lunch before launching the paddleboard

Oh TM I am so sorry to hear about that. How hard is it to put a muzzle on a dog you know is going to be like that?! Stops it from biting as well as being a visible warning to approaching walkers and runners
