Even I have to admit that second goal, even though it was against Scotland and by a former Doriano (arch-nemesis of Genoani) was spectacular. The worst part is thst Scotland were not even bad! I'm used to watching them get gubbed. I'll miss the classic Germany v France as I teach English at that time 😭😭😭. Friday will be awful. We will watch it with some English friends and I will cower under a blanket fort in the corner.

I mean, I love sunny summer weather when the plan involves an outdoor pool/lake or a beer garden. But not for running. Temp was apparently only 17C as well. Anyone else struggle at comparatively low temps? Hang on, I shall do a poll.....

Hope you manage the same. 17C is Proper Hot by my standards. Take water, go slower and try to go out early or late, if it is safe to do so.

Above 5C is short sleeves, unless there's rain/wind chill. Gloves optional if chilly. There's a woman I often see running when I drive home after night shifts. Long sleeves, beanie and bodywarmer/down gilet sort of thing in recent weather! I don't understand how people don't overheat!
LazyDaisy Jun 2021 10:55am, 15 Jun 2021 33,602 posts	0 LazyDaisy Someone on Fetch once said something about adding 10C to the current temperature because that's what it'll feel like when you're running, and you should dress accordingly. I've found thst works for me. 15 is definitely at the top end of where I'm comfortable. It's no surprise to find I do my best runs in April and early May, or October. Summer's pretty much a write-off for speed.
