Ooh ITG, what pictures! Quite unnerving to think of all that fire lurking not very far beneath us. Well, some of us.

Well done on the half marathon and improved WAVA, TeeBee.

Like the beer mats, Som.
Similar weather to Daisy's (often is); blue sky, sunshine, but very cold wind. Went for a walk in it, saw flowering blackthorn, flowering current, and a clutch of lambs, skipping around in a group together, no longer clinging to Mum's side.

A rest day today, but we went for a 4 mile walk to keep the castle mileage ticking over. It was that or mow the lawn ...

Weather? A lot better than forecast. Warm in the sun when sheltered, chilly breeze when in the open. No snow, hail or rain though.

Q: How long is a pig?
A: Either titchy, or longer than a pony ....



Lots of deer again, but very twitchy. Maybe because they have young ones with them?

Living room painted here. Ceiling plus walls. Need to follow Mandy’s example now and gloss the door frames and mantle piece. Fortunately skirting boards are just varnished wood. But do need to do the passage at some point which has skirting boards and dado rails that need gloss...
