Is Badger here too? I got the sentiment we had to be politely enthused when mrS cousin ran his first marathon GFA, little sod. I’d recommend a coach to see just what you can do

Bint, are you ultra-ing again? - I'm not keeping up. With the thread, I mean.

Negative temperature and snow all morning; crept up above freezing early afternoon; snow stopped late afternoon so I went for a short, not-very-enjoyable walk.

Really pleased to see your time, Bint - last time I checked you were still sitting 1st in your age group 👍🏻👍🏻 Well and truly back.

How cold was it for you? It was about -2 when I headed out but plenty of layers, buff and hat meant it was actually quite pleasant!

Ha! I'm probably the only person in my age group who ran it on flat road, Badger :-)

It was bloody freezing especially with the wind. Took me the first lap to work out my layers (swapped hat for buff and removed wind jacket) then, like you, I was mostly fine. Gloves went on and off and was freezing as soon as I stopped but pretty comfortable most of the time during the run.
