I used to run the Lakeside January run most years, probably 10 - 20 years ago?

Lots of army activity at the moment RRR ... not on the canal, but all around.
Wonder if it's live ammo or not?

Afternoon. I slept really well last night; so well that we didn't wake up until 11am 😲 That' has thrown me out of kilter. I've had to do household stuff before getting on with fun stuff so I'm only just going for my run. I'm quite looking forward to the buffeting - it's a great excuse for my ultra slow running pace :)

Commiserations to ITG and hope Mr. ITG gets medications sorted promptly.

Not-a-parkrun done. Cold, but blue sky and sunshine; doesn't it make a difference!

Army activity... maybe they're delivering vaccines. A friend of mine (in her 80s) was vaccinated last week by an RAF person.

OH has procured new prescription so we can hopefully sort it out and wean off as originally planned.
He slept till 1245 (till I woke him); bloody cat slept till noon.

Poor you, ITG!
My planned run turned into a 4mile walk with TP instead. I figured he's out all day tomorrow so I can get a long run in, plus he had the idea of running together today. Fine on paper but in reality he runs too quickly then gets himself out of breath so not a sociable run, and I put in 30s walk breaks every half mile and want to be chatty, so we're not compatible running partners 😂
