I think we did about 6 courses for dinner, which lasted on and off from 1.30 to 9pm!! Late start today, cooked brunch for everyone, then parents left for home. 3 mile drizzly walk will be my only exercise today, but we're back now and plan a lazy afternoon by the fire with nibbles. Back to work tomorrow.

OH is festering about getting on the road quickly because he (without consulting me) made an arrangement to meet a friend this afternoon. We could not leave til midday and still be home in time for that so I will not be rushed. I think we're both suffering post Christmas come-down, as tempers are a little short
