Morning. Was meant to be doing my club 10k this morning, but ds had a +ve lft yesterday, and despite mine being negative I've decided to give myself a break, just in case I have something lurking.

Thanks ITG. I'm pretty sure he has it. He's single jabbed (was going to have his second on Thurs) so hopefully the vaccine, and the fact he's a teenager means it wont be too bad for him. PCR test kits to be delivered today.

I think I will rebook my Scotland trip for Easter. With new PCR and self isolation rules there are just too many things that cam gp wrong.

Of course, now the Easter prices are really high so I'd have to pay a huge whack for the new trip with no guarantees then either. Feels like throwing good money after bad.

But I could hardly sleep for the stress of it all and trying to make sense of the rules and all the things that need to work out to spend ANY time with my mum. No point flying over to spend 5 days alone with baby in a cottage unable to see anyone.

Hoping we at least make it to Italy but they might clamp down too. Then it is hundreds of euros wasted and a miserable and lonely Christmas in Akureyri for the 3rd year in a row.

Yes. I am trying not to spiral.
