(I once did get a new strap for mine, cheapo HK type, ordered from Cairns for delivery to my next hotel in Brisbane) similar to this amazon.co.uk

Troubleshoot email sent to Garmin. Worst they can do is say no and I go to the dark side to buy a replacement.
