In an interview on local BBC news tonight the 'winner' said he missed the point at which the routes diverged and when he couldn't see the finish line after 6.5 miles stopped to ask a lady where the line was, and was told he was on the Half course, so he thought he might as well finish. It was a bit silly of Great Run to set the Half and 10k off at the same time and over the same course for the first few miles.

Did 1.99 miles this evening to accompany ds on his C25K run. This leaves me on 599.1 for the Castle challenge. Steam must be coming out of Linds' ears! Sorry Linds x

The sad thing about the 10k/half marathon mix up is that other runners got so upset about and complained - they would have DQ'd him anyway I'm sure as he wasn't registered. He beat 2nd place by 4 minutes. That's actually hilarious!

I had a day's holiday today. Took small cat to the vets for her check up, then out with GF and her daughter who was back for a long weekend. Two cafes. :-) Tonight, I walked to the gym (1.5 miles), did weights, then ran back the long way. 3.3 miles inc warm up and cool down. Good fun.

Teeth are recovering post double implant drilling, I think I’ll be ok to run today. Although meetings wise Weds may be more viable
