Sorry yeah it was a cruise ship - locally everything is a ferry that leaves the port as there are quite a few over to Amsterdam from there, only arrived yesterday morning and it’s gone again today?!

Great news SW.

Four rather wet miles after work. Glad I had company otherwise I would have bailed.

I must have been lucky, apart from literally no more than six raindrops on my run this morning it's been dry all day here today. The forecast for the next couple of days is awful though. I somehow doubt my 'long' bike ride will be happening tomorrow.

The weather chap in the Times today wrote about the appalling summer endured by the UK in 1956 after an unusually warm and dry Spring...I do hope history isn't going to repeat itself :-(

Dogs bumhole here. I found the missing part of the fell trail that had been hidden under the ice and it was quite lovely.

Not sure what to do about the gym. I'm 9 months gym fees out of pocket (I always pay things up front) and I've got my bike, a great pool and a fully equipped gym at uni but zero motivation for working out alone. It was never about the crossfit but more the community and the fact it made me a better runner, less likely to get injured. I'm really sorry for the husband and wife owners.

That’s sad ITG :-( So much fall out from this, so many direct and indirect effects.

Glad your test was negative SW

Sorry to hear that ITG, I know what you mean about not working out alone.

Good news SW and some more lovely pics yesterday and today. :)

I was told about a big yacht moored at Poole Quay, purported to be owned by a Russian Oligarch, so I went out on a long bike ride yesterday to see it. I also saw loads of goslings of varying sizes in the park and the wind was in my favour as I rode back along the prom. :)

I managed to get myself out the door for a run this morning but I'm chickening out of PT tomorrow as the forecast is a bit dodgy.
