Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

:-( Blinking hayfever. GF got me some Beconase nasal spray and I popped a couple of sprays up each nostril around half an hour ago. No sneezes yet. Will let you all know later, how it's gone.

Hay fever is best controlled before it starts getting bad otherwise it’s hard to get under control. Mine usually finishes in April but this weird weather has meant I’ve continued with all my meds till it buffers off for good. Try taking one tablet again in the evening and/or a different type of tablet as well to get it under control

I don't usually get hayfever but this year my eyes have been streaming on runs! I must look like I hate running 😂
Today however I've just come back from a lovely enjoyable nearly 11 miles round villages and country lanes. Not too hot and hardly any people 😊

I’m going for a walk later. I’m excited as I am doing a socially distance run tomorrow with my running buddy :-) - it will also mean I don’t need a 5am alarm

By 'eck, that nasal spray has worked wonders. I've not sneezed since taking it and am breathing a lot easier. :-) I had a nice wander down to the post office to send off medals (including Turtlemama's) and there's a new cafe opening up 0.2 miles from home which will be great for after a run. LG, that sounds great, I've not organised anything properly with anyone but hope to do some runs or walks soon with people I've not seen in a few months.

Yayy more bling 😊😊. Had sort of forgotten about that but the over-ten-miles today definitely justifies it! Then again, I had also forgotten about my Fetch Avoid vest until it arrived. And then, forgot to wear it today. Anyone sensing a pattern here??

I did a test run of the new shirt today. Is this the right place to complain?

It was absolutely no good for deer stalking. I thought the light green would camouflage me in the fern & bracken & trees.
This was the first few deer we saw.

30 seconds later, they were gone, down the valley, into the (other) woods

Never mind, onward. We decided on a ‘new’ track that we haven’t run before, parallel to one we often do.

And tested the shirt again … but the deer was better at hide & seek than me.

And at the ‘turn round’ point – found a few more deer, also one bounding away ahead of us, and a few in the woods. But the battery died. So last pic for today. No pic of me wearing the shirt. Or the Treasure Hunt pics we'd planned for the way back. Will have to go back.

So a fail for the shirt, no camouflage functionality at all. Unless the deer can read, see the ‘AVOID’ and immediately scarper,
And also, no magical ‘go faster’ properties.

But many thanks Fetch !
