Massage at midday. When I'd recovered from that I went for a briskish walk (between 2 and 3 miles).
Hoping SW is feeling better, Daisy's foot has no further complaints, and David has managed to catch up with some sleep.

Off to the track this evening. If I have to run in the rain/dark at least it’ll feel safe.

Last night when I ran home from work I spent most of the time dodging very slow walkers who kept changing direction and trying to avoid bins on the pavement. I was fed up and kept stopping.

Steady run with rain threatening. Went out on MTBike straight after run and got totally wet as the rain arrived. Showered with a large mug of tea trying to warm up now.

Birthday pint later with oldest son 31 today

(It was me trying to avoid the bins, not the slow moving pedestrians.)

Take care Carp! I've driven down the M5 in torrential rain this afternoon, but when we got here the sky was blue and there are lambs in the fields :-)

Ha ha um. I’ve had many a run like that. Though usually not fortunate enough to be wearing a waterproof jacket!

Corrah - hope you’re feeling better than me today. Did Total Conditioning on Tuesday. Turning over in bed and coughing are not fun today. Oof!

Blood donors today so no strenuous exercise. Just did a very long walk to shop instead to continue RED.

Wimped out of intervals tonight. Had a cough at the beginning of the week which hasn't materialised into anything. Went out with a slower group on Tuesday night which was a good move as I was much slower than usual. Hopefully a night off will mean that I'm okay to run again at the weekend.

Intervals done at the track. Was OK - much better than last night's run, anyway. Slowed down far too much in the second half (8 reps) but that was mostly because I'd convinced myself that the first half had been too fast. It hadn't. Oh well.

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2020 thread, everybody welcome. The thread motto is:
'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

At normal times: All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles. Extra points for bins :-) And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.
