ITG and ar - hope you're OK and don't suffer with any after-effects. Take it easy this afternoon.
I've walked about 4 miles this morning with my lovely friend - it was wonderful to have a proper chat :)
Busy doing nothing now :)

Trip to fleecyville today to rescue MiLs house from a toppling tree. Avoided the locals though, just in case they don't like people from the country zipping up the nearly empty M3 to visit.

I suspect back in pre-lockdown Feb/March, when everything was wet and ducks were swimming around on the 'lawn', the tree decided to subside.
The base of the trunk was about 45 degrees and it got more horizontal as it went, ending up a few foot above the roof. It was solid, but not going to get any straighter, or at least not more upright.
We checked no nests and decided to remove it at the base, no partial amputation.

Luckily, unlike other 700-ers, no injuries, face plants or limbs sawn off.
All accomplished at distance, no house entry.

Back home now - slightly itchy & saw-dusty.

Fragile Do Not Bend
((ITG and AR)). Thankfully I’ve done my run for the day and remained upright throughout.

I think a lot of trees keeled over after this winter, um. Did body blast this morning then scooted over to the opticians to pick up glasses for ds2 to try on. Not that he’s awake yet!

Nice one Caz :-) medal duck

Today I've wandered to the postoffice and back, took a jigsaw to some new fence panels that didn't quite fit, fitted them (a miracle, with my usual DIY tricks), put up fairy lights in the garden and sorted out the recycling.

Me and Mr Fetch have been chatting about medals for the virtual races.....

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2020 thread, everybody welcome. The thread motto is:
'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

At normal times: All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles. Extra points for bins :-) And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.
