Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I sympathise LG, I should be with friends in the South of France :-( I must get on with claiming my refund from Easyjet. However prompted by GimmeMedals' blog the other day, I ordered a new garden sofa set last night so at least we can enjoy our garden in comfort this summer!

Morning all.
The sun is shining again, thank goodness.
We're about to get a full refund for our May holiday and I'm tempted to buy some new garden furniture with it. Don't tell Mr W yet though ;)
Another run day today and a visit to E (my eldest) to have a socially-distanced chat and take her some 'new baby' parcels.

Morning :)

Non-hugs from this direction too.

I have undertaken to reduce my intake of rubbish from today and increase my exercise a bit to try and get rid of the extra kilos since I came home 4 weeks ago.

I'm quite surprised , the lack of exercise I've done

Hasn't turned into a weight gain.

Yesterday I set myself a target of running to easy and just for as long as I could manage. That turned out to be 12 min at 18 min miles. The ground was sludgy but still. I’m considering myself a work in progress and at least my foot is unbothered. I did too it off with some 4 min on 4 min off jeffing but none of that explains why I was so tired I was almost sick when I got back

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2020 thread, everybody welcome. The thread motto is:
'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

At normal times: All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles. Extra points for bins :-) And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed, sometimes even running.
