Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Cracking photos um. I had two deers run out in front of me during a half marathon last year. You get quite a fright don’t you. Would loved to have a pic like yours of the moment.

Glad you had a pain free run LG.

A decent 8.50 miles for me. Got a nice toot & shout from a run chum that cancelled out the arsehole driver that beeped at me for running on road. I was avoiding another runner & walkers. No other cars coming. Not surprised it was a BMW driver!

Gosh how wonderful Um! I'll sit and have a look at that YouTube clip later, it looks interesting, thank you Peregrinator. Hugs to Paula xx

My only wildlife photo today was of a Roman snail, which we get on the limestone here. Needless to say it didn't move quite as fast as the deer :-) This week on our club FB page we're doing a thing about the 5 ways to wellbeing, one of which is to learn, so when I got home I looked up some facts about Roman snails. Apparently they can live for up to 20 years, but they rarely migrate much further than about 6 metres. Now if you think we're a bit limited in our travel at the moment, just be glad you're not a Roman snail :-0

Those of you that take your phones with you on your runs, how do you carry them? I’ve yet to find a satisfactory method.

The rear zip pockets on my shorts are too small, arm bands are to big and clumsy, waist bags move and bounce. It seems to me that a running top with rear pockets like cycling jerseys would be a good idea.
