Boot camp was hard today. I've got boys to sort out, my own work to do, and then I'll run. It's cold and stormy so not particularly appealing right now.

Mornage swamp rabbits.

I woke up very late, but never mind. Breakfast then a longish run.

That's good Carp, I'm sure you needed it. (())

The temperature's up to 9* now so I think it's warm enough to venture out now.

Managed to knock over a minute off last week's 5k virtual relay time, but it's still slow for a 5k :-( However, now I have this 5k route organised I'm going to run it once a week (not necessarily on Saturdays!) to see if I can gradually get the time down a bit more. Then when I *finally* get back to parkrun along the nice flat, mainly straight seafront at Exmouth, I'll whizz along in a PB :-) Well, I can but dream :-)

Morning everyone :-)

I went out at 6.30 for my run, if I leave it until later I don't end up going! I then went straight to Sainsbury for 7.30 NHS shopping time, was surprised that only 2 others were queuing when I got there at 7.25, shopped and back home before 8!

I am now in my 'office' working from home :-)

Good work MrsJ. :)

It was cold when I set out but I warmed up quite soon. Saw a couple of people I know so had to stop for a chat, nice to have a bit of human face to face interaction occasionally.

Nice work MrsJ.

I went for a lovely long walk. Certainly the longest I've ever walked around here.

Eight mile run 🏃🏼‍♂️ this morning. There’s a lovely display of flowers in bloom in Angmering Old Village. A nice tonic in these difficult times.

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2020 thread, everybody welcome. The thread motto is:
'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

At normal times: All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles. Extra points for bins :-) And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed, sometimes even running.
