Fragile Do Not Bend
Walk done, surprisingly few people out and about compared to our walk on Saturday afternoon last weekend. Bloody quad bikes on the North Downs Way, I’m sure that’s not in the list of valid reasons to be out.

The NDW without quad bikes

I’ve not been doing the treasure hunt, but if there’s ever an Aladdin’s Lamp category, I’m sorted.

Brilliant FDNB, shame about the quad bikes. Unfortunately “our” bit of The Ridgeway was open to traffic & a favourite for off road motor bikers, quad bikes & 4WD Tours, *rolling-eyes emoji*

Happy anniversary TeeBees. champagne

I finally got out to the airport on my bike today to have a look at the plane park. It was a bit difficult to get a full picture but you get the idea. I'm sure I saw a few Qantas planes parked on the other side of the airfield. Coming back over the foot bridge over the river was a bit of a bottleneck, impossible to keep 2m apart and I'm sure I saw our MP come over on a bike with his wife.

Impressive ar. Shame they couldn't have used a few to collect you earlier?
I'd like to see it - but it probably doesn't count as an 'essential' journey, and I'd struggle to cycle there and back!

Here's an aerial view, found in the web at random, if of interest. airlive.net

There is an odd, old or special livery jumbo in the opening and closing sequence?
And other reports (eg Echo) talk of 3 x Virgin A340s - so maybe that's the other ones you saw.

Good evening everyone! I've had a pleasant day in lockdown. I think when we eventually get out I might stick to me lockdown routine, viz:
Get up a bit later than usual (7:30 today)
Go for a run or a dog walk
Shower
Do some minor bits of housework but not too much
Read the paper properly instead of just skimming through it
Bit of gardening but not too much
Sit in the garden doing my knitting.

That's really not bad, is it? :-)

Tomorrow is a garden parkrun day. With bunny ears :-)

Sounds a perfect way to enjoy your day LD :-)

Went for a walk and at each mile I took a few running steps and it felt okay s I may Doc parkrun tomorrow.

Last night I did an upper body workout which I didn't really enjoy but boy I can feel where it's targeted :-O

I saw that film before um, it must have been taken by a drone and I noticed signs all along the fence saying that it was a no-drone flying area.

Good morning everyone! More sunshine here.

Dog walking day today. Need to get going so it's not too hot for the dog and also need to get back in time for core team Zooming at 10.

Hope you all have a safe and satisfactory day xx
