um
Very windy walk along SWCP today, Weymouth down the east side of Portland, but fortunately only 10 mins in waterproofs. This is the first time I've seen a boat marina like this .. high tides or 007 style parking? |

There's a similar one in Portsmouth, I walk past it on my way to the Gt South Run every year It's smaller than the one in Um's photo though. Well done Columba's son's friends, that's a great result! |

um
Photo was north east end of Portland - just past the National Yachting Centre, as per fetcheveryone.com/routes-view.php?id=1802512 In other news, holiday house update : - no salt & pepper - can't get the jacuzzi / jets working in the bath (you see what we have to put up with ) - but on the positive side, more than 20 mugs |

Columba for your son's friends. A small parkrun indeed although it's usually into the 50's at least. |

Ours was smaller than usual today, LG, probably because a lot of the local Fast Runners will have been signed up to Man v Horse. And the wet and windy weather may have had something to do with it. Bint, that sounds lovely. Hope you're enjoying it to the full. |

I usually run at the beach where they have close to 300 but wanted to volunteer so gave my time to the smaller run.

21 tough miles today. A fastish 10k the night before maybe wasn’t the brightest of ideas! Ran with a friend which was a massive help. There was a piper at the end LG! A cracking run though. £20 and you had beer, wine & Prosecco at checkpoints. A home made medal, superb tie bag (including a beer in the bag) and a t-shirt. Think the fact that it’s a social run as opposed to a race makes it that much better too. |
