Lol at ITGs new moniker ((((Carp))))) - daft thing for your doc to say! 10kg is a stone and a half isn't it? - that's what I would like to lose, but it's not happening! - There's too much life-stuff to count calories. I'm aiming to not put any more back on, keep up the exercise and try to make better choices when I can. Good enough for a start? Ofsted said special measures - nice of them to keep us hanging for 3 months! Might not have a job after July! Might just apply here aspects-holidays.co.uk and run away....... |

((RH)) ((carp)) - but totally agree regarding overall fitness being important Yay for AR skiing More yay for ITG's new name I'm afraid today was also interesting A nurse who works on the next door ward was talking about yesterday's RTA. This is a very small, parochial part of the world. Most people are related to each other, or live next to each other, or went to school etc etc. So everyone already knew who the dead driver was....turns out he was a well-known local drug dealer and iv drug abuser. Whilst the risks from saliva are very very small, that still meant spending half the day sorting out an appointment with Occ Health, getting hep B booster, and blood taken. I will need blood taking again in 6, 12 and 24 weeks time. Hoo-flipping-ray. However, the doctor he crashed into was in remarkably good spirits this morning when I visited her - was having her arm pinned this afternoon, but she said all the witnesses had corroborated her story that he veered into her path and nothing she could have done. I now wonder if it was drug-related. But for those of you who were wanting to know, apparently the dog made it. I think I may have a small drink tonight. |

I’m glad the dog made it and the doctor is ok That seems poor reward for your intervention Ymee and the distress of witnessing a fatal accident. I will be raising a glass to your good health tonight |
