ITG - I might aim for 10k by the end of the year, too.
Daisy - that Richmond running festival does look interesting. I see there's a Kew Gardens 10k...
Lots of Weather here, too, changing at the drop of a hat. Walked out of church after Mass into brilliant sunshine and blue sky; 5 minutes later was driving home through a blizzard.
Nevertheless, I ran in it (next of the C25K sessions). It was considerably more character-forming than I really wanted it to be.
Loving the IoW pictures.

You're doing well Columba, running your C25K session in that weather is properly hardcore!
I'm very tempted by that Richmond weekend because the routes should be interesting to look at as you run along.

Lol at "character-forming", Columba. We hsd the recerse here: massive blizzard en route to pool on foot as car has more sense than me and stays home when the weather is pants; went to mass after my swim, came out afterwards and it was quite lovely.
Spent the day finishing kids' dress-up and formatting 175 footnotes. I have such an exciting life.

I was sent a 26.2 discount code from New Balance as a reward for my fundraising to date, so it seemed rude not to use it on some shoes and VLM branded shorts...

Shame you missed Barcelona HM today PP.
Bramley 20 was good. Progressive for 9.30 first mile through to sub-7.30 last mile, by and large with steady progression. Sunny but cold and windy. I felt for Caz and others marshalling. Must have been bitter.
A good day out and Iron Mum's hospitality was top notch as usual.
Then had to drive to Southampton to check on DS1 who got involved in a punch up last night and lost his phone. His mother was fretting so I said I'd go and check him out. He was very surprised and looked rather shame-faced (well puffy-faced anyway). It was just him and one other and I suspect both parties at fault, fuelled by a few drinks. Gave him a bollocking for not letting us know he was alright and a hug because he is
