It’s lovely here. Good luck everyone who needs it today!
Literally hundreds of WhatsApp messages later ( I am not kidding) my friends and I are going to Centre Parcs in June It turns out that in the end we all think a bit of space is a good thing.

Excellent centre parks result. Never made it out on bikes, my unbendy knee refused to rotate a pedal, must have whacked it as well, yesterday, though took the brunt of it. Been for a sunny windy walk, but not far enough to wave to Fleecy, then sorted the van ready for tomorrow, now yet again storing a load of *stuff* for adult *children*

More like Springwatch today - kites, buzzards and multiple deer sitings. Waved to Fleecy on IoW, worried it may blow away ... Couldn't see anyone waving back (but I was probably 25 - 30 miles away ... last row of hills is IoW)

massive blizzard here; all the flights cancelled (which means my guest teacher is stuck in Reykjavík and I've noone to teach German constitutional law tomorrow. Hmmm....)

15 miles done today - 6 with Mr AL & another marathon trainee and then 9 with the RR crew. We had a lot of weather! We also had to turn back on the 6 mile route Mr AL had planned because the road was completely flooded - through not round didn't seem sensible with so many miles left ahead.

[Actually the blizzard has passed here but it is snowing and windy in Reykjavík and they are all peeing their pants. All over the northern hemisphere are "northern" folks scoffing at the wimpiness of "southern" folks]

I went for my walk and the sun was lovely and warm, when sheltered from the wind. I waved in Fleecy's direction.
Masses of people and dogs coming the other way as I headed back to the car when I saw this cloud coming toward me.
I saw a rainbow, then it got me in the last few hundred yards. I tried running for it but the wind got really strong straight in my face and hail was pounding me. It stopped as I got in the car.
Nice to get out though.
