It does look appealing...but there were only three LV60-64 runners last year and they all did sub 4:30 :-0. I would need about 6 hours, I reckon :-)

It filled up by June last year, so I need to see how my running is going when Spring gets underway.

Go for it LD. you know you want to!

Knee has responded to not being stuck under a desk all day by declaring itself no longer tweaky. A clear case of the sitting disease that V'rap always warns us about :-)

I am full of carbs and heading for an early night. Weather forecast is distinctly better than today's. All is well with the world :-)

Nothing wrong with it at all but I've never drank flavoured teas (except peppermint) - really enjoying it.

Ooh. Exciting news LG. Best of luck with your training.

Managed a cheeky parkrun this morning before doing a murder mystery thing around city centre. Had to pop into a few pubs to review the clues. Even tried darts for the first time. Found out my sister is the worst ever darts player. Don’t think I’ve ever laughed so much. Sooo funny.

ooo Richmond, London - I was quite keen thinking it was the proper Richmond - but actually London would be flatter and more sensible........
LD, if I can get around sub 6, reckon you should be sub 5 or better!

Think maybe I should have had tea rather than a rather large glass of red LG, just woken up cold on the sofa. The men of the house all gone upstairs and left me here, not sure I CBA to move.

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Next year's spreadsheet can be found here - let's fill it up
