6 miles at race pace. Hmm. Still not figured out what that is yet, or how to ‘feel’ it. I’ll keep working on it.

buntingbunting all round for happy 700ers and a reunited Garmin :-)

I ran my slowest ever parkrun, and although I debated giving up after one mile, then after two miles, I ended up jogging all the way and treated my feet to a dip in the sea afterwards :-) The water was painfully cold to begin with but it did the trick as my foot seems to have survived ok :-)

Nice nail varnish Daisy (I like nail varnish the way some women like bags or shoes...I suspect because I'm not allowed it at work, and telling me I can't is like a red rag!!)
I have completed a draft of my essay! Hurrah!!!! It probably isn't near ready, but am getting to the point where I'm so sick of it I might just submit it anyway :-)

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.
