Thank you, ITG. I hope there's a fair chance anyone listening in Icelandic will have not switched into English for one mumbled word...

And on the running side:
Well done AR!
:( for LD
Knocked nearly a minute off my half PB today, despite having to stop to retie a shoelace; think my foot swelled slightly and started to hurt, and the lace tangled and it was thirty seconds gone right there :)

The Mighty Fleecy
it probably doesn't sound as rude in your non-native language :) And it made me giggle, I bet you already have a reputation ITG and this will be one of those funny stories which people will enjoy telling.
Oh dear Latterly :(
Bastard circuits class was tough but good.

HellsBells
Just popping in to visit and think Rosehip for putting up with my wittering all morning and to ask Badger how the hell I managed to miss him?
Actually I know how - he was way in front with RichHL and spurring my Eldest on to a huge negative split!

bunting Badger PB bunting :)

LD, sorry to hear about your foot, that's it now, you're going to have to be a good girl for the rest of this year. (())

Well done RH & HB and eldest too. medal

With all that faffing with my Garmin earlier I seem to have deleted all the history. I had been threatening to do it for a while now so it's done. Luckily, as I have done the event before and had a vague recollection of this year's time I copied the route and will add the official one when I get it, might have been good to see my splits though.

Oh no, Daisy. That sucks.

I have run five miles. It was lovely, even though I did slightly turn my ankle *crosses fingers it's nothing*

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Next year's spreadsheet can be found here - let's fill it up
