Well raced, Dooogs :) I enjoyed Holmfirth 15 a few times years ago - unforgiving in places but I found it worth the effort.

Back from my XC which I DBF'd. It involved a field, slightly sloping, very uneven and full of cow pats. We had to run up and down it twice, 3 times. On my first straight my ankle nearly went over so halfway back up the first return I decided that with my recent history I'd err on the side of caution and pull out before doing myself some damage - I could see me ending up with a face plant into a cow pat. ;-) It means I've now got to go out and have a run later.

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.
