Afternoon! Welcome home (when you get there) to ferret :-)

I've got a sub-committee meeting at 5:30. I'm not massively interested in the topic :-( Collecting some preparatory notes I see that I've now been secretary for five years. Five years is my attention span for jobs and volunteer roles...maybe it's time to let someone else have a go ;-)

Commiserations to ITG, Ymee, and all others suffering. Lying awake in the dark hours of the very early morning is truly horrible, and certainly condusive (?conducive - they both look wrong) to thinking one is dying of something lingering and painful.

"Vibe cycle" class last night. The "proper" instructor was back, and furthermore she had the music not quite so loud, so that I didn't have to switch off my hearing aids.

On the whole, I think "conducive" lloks better.

Lol :)
Came home to pissing rain so we didn’t bother playing tennis, back to normality and a bit of running tomorrow.

Some good news for a change - my Dad has just been for his 3-month check after all his problems in the summer. No new clots, those that were there are being nicely eaten away, and his pulmonary pressure is right down and nearing normal. The old bugger has the regenerative powers of a man half his age. All those years running/walking in the hills - they may hurt us now, but they do us good in the long run ;-)
Off to google how to spell conducive/condusive (autocorrect suggests the former...)

Row - llocks? ;-)

I didn't go to circuits this evening and I've cancelled yoga tomorrow - mini-minor sores are just in the wrong places. :( I am planning to go to club tomorrow evening though for the first time since the Spring. It's a planned hills session down the beach.

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Next year's spreadsheet can be found here - let's fill it up
