More (()) for the MBs here too.

We had our briefing indoors and were surprised that it had stopped raining when we went out to start our race. Nice support walking up Gold Hill. I don't know what possessed me to enter this race again. The rain started again soon after and as the downs were almost as steep I was worried about slipping up. I finished it, last runner and only a Nordic walker came in not long after me. :)

Well done RH and alpenrose :)

Hugs for the MBs, it's quite normal to worry but it might be nothing serious (like calcified tissue) and if it is then treatment is very successful .

bunting NDW Dave bunting well done indeed!

Congratulations on all the soggy running run

Five mile race looked as if it would be wet. It was hot as hell instead. Mr Carp pulled out due to his knee ballooning up :(
I got my fastest 5m time since June 16 and a sub-50 :)

((MB and MrsB)) and well done to the wet runners.

Mr F and I went for a post Sunday lunch 5 mile walk on the downs, we were luckily with the rain and only got slightly drizzled on.

Well done RH, AR and Carp!

I have done a 25 mile week but looking at Fetch's graph showing how much training I did in the weeks before my 10 mile race last month, I can see I've really eased off on the mileage in the weeks before the Gt South next week. :-( It'll be interesting to see what difference, if any, it makes.

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Next year's spreadsheet can be found here - let's fill it up
