Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I hope they find the kid soon, CAZ. Terrifying for the parents though he or she has most likely just wandered off.

I am happily undressed and in bed (it is onl 9am here) but trying to persuade myself to suit up and face the gale.

Dried and brushed but I will just take road shoes. They don't look good enough to wear traveling or walking about.. I have a paur with spiked in Greenland if it snows.

Oh dear Caz, I hope child was found by parents and they are unaware of the search .

I had a lie-in, several coffees either side of the dog-walk and still can't get moving. It's a gorgeous day, I must do 3 for DrK and some for Bint, but despite plotting a WSW route I'm glued to my stool.

3 miles done for drK will do tomorrow’s for Bint :-)
The foot and calf stretches, the mildness of the pf, the socks and gels, the spiky ball rolling and the shock therapy have all combined to mean it’s just a vaguely sore heel which seems none the worse for a jog.

I’ll be runwalking it in case but see you in Ealing Linds :-)

Morning all. Feeling brighter today than I have for a couple of weeks. Lovely autumnal walk to the gym, excellent Bodypump class (I'm so glad I found this, I just LOVE it), then a gentle jog home. I worked harder today, my right arm is going to be good for nothing tomorrow - it's far weaker than the left so I concentrated on making it keep up.

Going for a run at Knole Park with the club tomorrow morning, followed by a picnic. I think I might be brave and opt for the longer route.

Maybe the kid was not lost - just walking to grandma's or something. Still right to call it in.

:-) for Seren's foot, L10's up-do, Paula's lovely morning, and lots of great running :-)
:-( for missing children
Had a lovely morning - all I did was mundane shopping but took oldest boychild for company and he was on fine form and we had a great time. Beats last weekend's stroppiness and sulking!!!

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Next year's spreadsheet can be found here - let's fill it up
