I learned yesterday that the gym/pool where I've been a member for years now no longer charges extra for its classes. (It's an expensive gym and it always rankled that they charged for the classes.)

So now, after a prolonged period of disruption while the place was rebuilt around us, we're rewarded with free classes - which they didn't actually tell us about! (A friend only found out when they booked for one of the classes :-0)

Once I'm happy that my twisted knee is fully better I need to investigate what's on offer :-)

Columba, yes, the blackheart restarts each month and I live in hope to see a heart again this year. ;-)

Hope pesky knees and other bodily bits start behaving themselves and all the lurgies finally sod off for good.

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.
