Morning :)

So glad to hear that the McGs got home after all last night. What a star Fleecy is. medal :)

Shame Liebling and I missed out on the before pics due to being in the loo queue at the time I guess. ;-)

Hope your journey and holiday goes well ferret. :)

She's not out of bed yet, but I'm hoping the bed rest will have her sorted out. By the time we left, she was just ultra-tired and needed to be somewhere quiet to sleep - which a hospital is not.

My theory: it's her underlying balance (for want of a better shorthand) issues combined with some overexertion in the race. I think she found her limit and exceeded it.

Again, thanks for all the kind wishes and thoughts. It's really lovely and very touching.

Sounds positive. Such a shame - she was looking very determined at the finish line.

Morning all. Walking better today than I did yesterday afternoon, I’m sure tomorrow will be worse.

Anyone know when the results are published? I was expecting a text with my official time.

The day after a race is a bit of a come-down, isn’t it?

Dio: the results were available at the time via a little printer, it wasn't very obvious though.
Is it Rosehip's birthday? I can't keep track of all these September birthdays! If it is happy birthday cakechampagne
My legs feel much better than they did yesterday. I might go play on the bouncy floor :)

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Next year's spreadsheet can be found here - let's fill it up
