And the world's longest lie in sounds like just what Liebling needs. May she awake revived and restored :)

I'll go look at her at 9, but otherwise I think the sleep will let her brain reset

I think you’re probably right on the sleep, McG.
I do hope she wakes up feeling more like herself.

Happy Birthday, RH :) cake

Over exertion at races can do funny things to the best of us, I've felt really quite unwell after particularly ardious races. Put that on top of Liebling's underlying conditions, and I can understand how it's knocked her sideways. I do hope bed rest helps her recovery. Glad you managed to get her out of hospital.

Happy birthday RH cake

And belated birthday wishes to AR. I was parted from my phone for 24 hours over the weekend, so missed that. More cake

You’re not wrong, TeeBee.
I’ve sat on the floor of service station toilets post race.
And, indeed, ended up in hospital. Another occasion where the extreme kindness of Fetchies (.B. and PP) made a massive difference!

Happy birthday RH! cake :)

I wonder if the food aspect was also part of it with Liebling, I'm pretty sure that's my problem.

dipps, I've just been looking back. I've done 3 half marathons now and the results were: 1 - 3.12.19, 2 - 3.12.24, 3 - 3.12.20. Oh, I didn't realise it was only 1 second :-o and no, I'm not planning on remedying that fact, but we wern't to know at the time. ;-)

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Next year's spreadsheet can be found here - let's fill it up
