Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Mandy: butternut squash risotto (with halloumi cheese, pine kernels, spinach and white wine).

The spin bikes where I go don't have gears, nor do they have percentages marked; just a little knob to turn towards the + for more resistance, or the - for less. I like the weights work, though I can't manage anything but the little (pink!) half-kilogramme ones. Standing on the pedals I can manage, but very occasionally we have been required to sink down into the space between the saddle and handlebars, so that we are effectively pedalling in a squatting position. Two or three turns of the pedals and that finishes me off.

Spaghetti and clams. Though you need a decent fish shop for the latter.
Fish pie
Pot roast chicken, mmm. Then you can make pie from the leftovers. Double mmm.

I learned it from Elder Daughter, who has now forgotten ever having made it for me or given me the recipe.

About This Thread

Maintained by Mandymoo
Welcome to the 700 miles in 2018 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Next year's spreadsheet can be found here - let's fill it up
