Evening all!
Didn't go in to theatre til nearly 2pm, next thing I know it's half past 5 and Ive got so much metalwork in my arm I can see a lifetime of patdowns at airport scanners!
Surgeon happy with the repair but it'll be 3 weeks before I m out of plaster and can start rehab. I made a big point of my active lifestyle and he explained in detail why the repair option he chose shpuld be the best for regaining mobility.
Thanks for all your good wishes.xxx

Glad to see you LD
going anywhere with FIL and his metal knees is always entertaining, the trick seems to be letting the alarm go off, then pointing to injury and saying "wanna see the scars?" -usually gets him waved through.

Good to be out on the other side of the operation, Daisy. Reasonably comfortable, I hope?
Been to vibe cycle class. It was as vibrant as ever.
