Nice five miler with the Thursday gang this morning, we explored a lane I've never been down in nearly 40 years of living in this town and rather pretty it was too. We also ran past a house we almost bought when we first came here - a 3 storey Victorian semi, lovely, lovely house, but we pulled out after a scary survey. I was relieved to see that eventually it *did* have to have tie bars and such-like installed so we weren't put off for no good reason. (We were at our max mortgage and wouldn't have been able to afford the remedial work.)
