We are up and getting ready for RR - I think we may be overwhelmed by new nervous runners looking at Facebook. And it's a lovely morning.

Hugs Som.

Oof AL. That's a lot!

Parkrun volunteering #13 today. First attempt at timekeeping. Quite enjoyed it. Had experienced other timekeeper who was a real help.

Don't worry Seren. You are a volunteer. I totally ballsed up barcode scanning one week (didn't scan the first 30/40 tokens!).

Gosh AL - that might become "interesting" luck and also big star for what you're doing for people :)

Well an impromptu series of events means I'm running the Swallowfield 10k tomoro! Certainly won't be PB chasing and just hoping the foot behaves. But should still be able to do a 55 min or quicker time

Hi gonks. Thanks for the love. :-)

Had a good run this morning - over 9 miles including parkrun as a running marshal.

I will hit the 700 mile mark tomorrow night. :-)

Don't worry Seren, it always works out somehow. Not your problem.

AL - that's amazing

*starts on knitting bunting for Som*

Course pb at Richmond parkrun today. Quite a soft pb, but it's a hilly one :-)

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2017 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Happy running :-)
