Morning. Ran to the station. It was meant to be an easy run but I left a bit late and then remembered that I had to be in early to do something particular, so it was a much faster part-commute than I had planned.

That's speed work done for this week, then :-)

Changed my plan at club yesterday and did efforts instead. 30 mins of hill reps. I had jelly legs but felt good to try something different and will definitely improve my running on hills. Hills are just a huge mental challenge for me currently so I'm hoping efforts sessions help.

I went for my run. I did the 5 mile route of a race I'm doing next month and tried to do it without walking breaks. I did have some walking breaks but not as many as what has become normal and mostly for a short time. I'm planning on doing the Joker plan again, starting this week with a baseline parkrun.

Phew, bums and tums was tough! Not done it in ages but it'll be great for niggles, must do it every week! Then ran walked with my friend, it's sooo muggy outside I'm still dripping with sweat. Now to put on a clean top then cycle 8 miles to the station.

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2017 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.
