[I had never heard of Linkin Park till yesterday. I'd never heard of the other band whose lead singer took his own life this Spring either. Suicides are always awful and I hope there won't be a spate of copycats :( Sometimes the reporting is not as sensitive as it could be.]

Fierce and Fearless Fleecy
*waves*
Snuck out for 3 miles along the river this morning while my guests were packing, turned into 5 something as I got lost (don't ask) and all the people out by the river were lovely and smiley, including a massive group of walkers, half of them Nepalese :)
That's good about your phone, Dipps!

Dipps phone recovery :-) - it's sent me off to make sure my findphone is present &correct
Quiet afternoon for me, filthy weather outside so music, cooking, fetching & watching tdf. Nothing like what actually needs to be done.

But I want to ask, Fleecy! How did you get lost along side a river?

Helegant
Morning all (err, yes, I know).

I'm smiling at the happy posts today, and at Fleecy getting lost on a river bank.

Well it's been an odd week, with a run of several days of 'must lie down and sleep because I am ***so*** weary yet can't sleep at night. Running has been on the 'don't even think about it' side of the balance.

After a nice chunk of dead cow yesterday (Mr is veggie so I rarely have meat in the house), no coffee after 6pm and the first uninterrupted night of sleep, guess what? I'm just back from my 4mile plod around the lake, with both feet off the ground and feeling fine again.

Helegant bounces back :-)

Have a good weekend all.

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2017 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Happy running :-)
