Getting to Guildford is easy enough via Clapham
I've never accessed the NDW from Dorking (usually travel to Box Hill) but that's pretty straightforward, too.

You just have to be prepared to change trains a few times :-)

I'm near the Gatwick line anyway so as long as we start or end up somewhere near Dorking Deepdene it's easy for me, JC just has to change once to get onto that line, seems like it should be ok for SK too then.
TeeBee you would be very welcome if you can wangle a day, otherwise maybe we could do a weekend day sometime as well. I really need some long beasty hill runs in my legs!

Thanks for the explanation ITG. Hope your back settles soon.

Lovely view RA.

That was a good shout Seren. Hadn't thought of minor injury clinic. There's one about 15 miles away so might try there tomorrow if still as painful. Thanks.

Looking forward to the highlights, Ferret - only caught a bit of the live coverage but it certainly seemed eventful!

Looks like a hill to go "wheeeeeeee!!!" down, RA :-)
Today was less awful than predicted - hubby obv a little guilty about sleeping through the overnight shenanigans and has cooked supper for us all and been generally nice*. And I went for a run - though not as long as I would have liked.

*I realise that sounds as if he's not normally nice - he is, he is an overall bloody lovely guy and I love him dearly. Except when he sleeps though the kids - but mostly that's just jealousy on my part because I am SUCH a shite sleeper!

That's amazing MB!

bunting (again!!) PH

Yes ferret I did see *le tour* and that was the most horrific thing I've seen since that awful crash in the Rio Olympics...I *hate* going downhill at the best of times so when I get on my bike it will be somewhere very flat and very quiet!

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2017 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed and sometimes even some running is talked about.

Happy running :-)
