Fierce and Fearless Fleecy
I had a towel from Bracknell HM, that's the only one I've had I think. They are very handy as gym towels, more races should do them!

Well done Frags!
I have towel from the 2008 Felixstowe half. Not because I ran it as I didn't run back then, but because I marshalled (my mum was race director). Definitely need more races doing towels instead of tshirts.

Fragile Do Not Bend
I think I might use it as a hand towel in the kitchen so it gets shown off.

Good plan, Frags!
The Birchwood 10k in Warrington gave customised towels to finishers and flowers to women competitors. Probably still does.

I read somewhere that's a towel is about the most massively useful thing you can have. 😀

Autumnleaves
Well done runners & racers today I have a towel from the Gingerbread 10k and a great one from last year's Mad Dog that is perfect for the gym as it has a zip pocket. The Birchwood 10k (Spectrum Striders organised, very nice race with outstanding marshals... ;)) was persuaded to ditch the towels in favour of medals I think it's a shame, but to appeal to the beginner end of the market apparently you really need bling.

Of course! I ought to have made the connection, Autumnleaves. The Striders consistently put on a safe and well organised race. Still think the towels were ace....
