I'm not even really that sure what the meeting achieved. Not the most productive 14 hours of my life.

Annoying TB.

No ironed sheets here as all fitted, but do iron duvet covers sometimes. Cotton or linen only. Anything else is sweaty and yeugh. And I'm a right prima donna about having the correct sort of pillows. ;-)

(oh and no bloody CUSHIONS on the bed allowed at all, ever. I mean what is the point? Just cluttering up the place and looking plump. Aaaargh!)

I've had those kind of days TeeBee! Hope tomorrow's a better day.

This is my first marathon. I thought it might be too much thus thought best to seek advice from very wise 700ers. Wednesday runs are 8-10 miles, Friday's 6-8 miles, Monday's recovery 5-6 miles.

Think 15, 20, 15 seems more sensible than 20, 22, 15. Think was worried I needed to do a 22 mile run but think having done an 18 and two 20's are sufficient.

Thanks for the advice folks. Much appreciated.

I've just got in bed, lovely clean UNIRONED bedsheets. :-)

Urm, just read 40 posts and forgot most of it. Apart from LG being so cruel and laughing at Bint. ;-)

I have been out to a fantastic pub, for pie night. I had chicken and red pepper. The female person had steak and ale. I was des so I just had a pint, the female person had 3 large glasses of wine. She'll be sound asleep now, she's up at 6.30 for work in the morning. Poor thing!! :-P

I think I shall run tomorrow evening, hopefully Mr Stomach will behave.

Kim, I agree - 15,20,15 sounds spot on.

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2016 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

bunting and 700er medals are often spotted around here.

Happy running :-)
