Maybe I should have a tummy bug more often - fastest parkrun in 2016 this morning (still a long way off my best but it felt good and I enjoyed it, so the time was the icing on the cake :-))

Oh gosh. No one has taken umbrage yet this year I don't think.

Off for a very gentle jog as it's swimathon tomorrow for me.

Well done LD and nice running Bint - it's good when you listen to your body

New forest ladies 10k done (okay it was 6.4 miles). Very lumpy run and nice hills, lovely place to run and thoroughly enjoyed it. Didn't have any walk breaks even on the hills. Wanted between 1.05 and 1.10 got 1.06 and 3rd I. Age group (yes a small field lol). First time I ha e veer won a prize - feeling the running love again. It must have been the new shoes 😀

Nice one MM :-)

Lovely marathon today on the Seven Sisters at Birling Gap. 1,300m of ascent so a bit hilly. And saw the lovely B for a Fetchie hug at mile 21 :-) Thanks for volunteering B :-) And saw 2 deer dart in front of me.

Lots of good running this weekend. *stern look* at LG and Carp for being too harsh on themselves!

MM - what make of shoes were they?!! bunting
I have biked. Quads felt awful, which is a surprise because I've barely done anything in a week, just one short run. Hey ho.

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2016 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

bunting and 700er medals are often spotted around here.

Happy running :-)
