27 minute pacing was made a bit more challenging by stopping for half a minute to help someone who was injured. They were fine to walk back on their own but ran 27:10 and helped two runners get the times they were after. Not a PB for either but their best runs in quite a while.

I heart parkrun.

Been to the chemists and have some imodium stuff.

Well done Paula and well done Som :)

I have not run again. Really wanted to go to Cambridge for HellsBells' 50th parkrun but failed :(

Well done Paula.

Carp, you haven't failed. You had a rest day. You've been doing loads - I can only dream of the sort of mileage you do. Be kind to yourself. ((((Carp))))

Carp - Som speaks sense. Yes, he does sometimes :-)
Be kind to your body.

I took the decision not to run a tough 27 mile race with PP today because I knew my body needed sleep and a gentler training run.
Stayed in bed four hours longer than I would have done if I'd been racing and then ran 18 miles nice and easy on the NDW
Feel more Bint like than I have in a while.

Hurrah for Bint-like Bint. :-)

I often speak sense Bint. :-P

I'm off to watch Pompey lose at Mansfield. I love the glamour of league two football.......

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2016 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

bunting and 700er medals are often spotted around here.

Happy running :-)
