Hard decision but I'd ditch the race too. As you'll be shattered and not be able to enjoy the concert as much.
4 miles for me today to keep things ticking over.

Don't be hard on yourself Star, just keep moving when you can and the mojo will return Paula I'm doing Brighton marathon very easy (on a long haul flight from Heathrow early morning day after) so if you do it at a mostly walk I'll be right with / behind you! Offered same to Claire! Reckon at a walk it will still put me in good stead for Neolithic half. But Brighton are good at letting you defer if that works better xx

Paula, maybe see how the training goes between now and Brighton and then make a more informed decision. Or just listen to the Ultra Bint who knows a thing or ten.

I've done a marathon then took T1 to a gig later that night. Five hours in a mosh pit. It's doable but you have to really want it. I find loud pounding music energising although I was knackered the next day.

I'm not sure there'll be a mosh pit at a Sting gig ...
And I have the next day booked as annual leave.
Decisions, decisions ...

I agree you have time before you need to decide. Personally I wouldn't want to go to a concert after a marathon but then I wouldn't do an ultra either 😀
I have just been for my first run for a while. 4.4 miles in the bag and it felt good
