I was a good girl and didn't run today but took Alfie for a walk while we delivered some cards. Need to delete at least 5 again tomorrow to stay on target of 100 this month

Oh no I honestly haven't passed on my germs. Think I am starting to improve. Got an actual holiday day off tomorrow so hoping to be well enough to go do some stuff.

I feel like attempting some general craftery type activities.

GWS to all the poorly folks *passes round vicks, hot toddies and paracetamol as required*

Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better Corrah.

No running or gym for me this week. Work getting in the way. Sigh.

1000 miles for XB - well done

Corrah am glad you are feeling a bit better

Cracking bike ride this morning, glorious weather and so warm. Just a base layer and cycle top (and trousers before anyone says anything).

Was looking forward to an early night but am currently babysitting Grandson No1, while daughter is at hospital as Grandson No2 hadn't moved today and they have been checking them both over. This little boy is certainly putting us through it. Thankfully they are now on way home now

Get well Fleecy, Daisy, MerrYmee and anyone else feeling Not Quite The Thing. Do what Corrah's doing, start to improve.

Written lots of Christmas cards today; will post them tomorrow.

Ding dong Meglet on high
I still like to send Christmas cards to a few people, relatives and good friends I don't see much. I stopped doing cards for local friends and colleagues a long time ago. Not sure I can even be bothered to sort corporate ones this year

People in church tend to give Christmas cards even though we all see one another every week.

Huntsman, only 2600 last year, but 2750 ish the year before, so we're back on form, although the introduction of the 'morning' tradition might have something to do with this :-)

About This Thread

Maintained by iRan
Welcome to the 700 miles in 2016 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

bunting and 700er medals are often spotted around here.

Happy running :-)
